Body: same 'quills' wrapped forward w/CCG
Wing: natural CDC tied in at tip, then make a small loop and tie again
Ginger hackle.
Body: moose & CCG
Wing: blk foam (body length or longer)
Ginger hackle.
* keep the body very slender and the foam wing long. Fish right up against the mossy rocks.
Nice use of moose mane might try it when I get hold of it. Keep on tying!

The trick is the thin coat of thin CCG. The stuff really makes the mane 3-D. I bet elk would work just as well. Thanks, Nate
